This private safari is designed for travellers who want to maximize their opportunities to see the Big Five — lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and black rhino — while also experiencing three very different landscapes. Tarangire is particularly known for elephants, Serengeti for big cats and vast wildlife-rich plains, while Ngorongoro offers one of northern Tanzania’s strongest opportunities for seeing black rhino alongside large concentrations of other wildlife.

Detailed Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha → Tarangire National Park
Your safari begins with a morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha. Meet your professional safari guide, receive a short safari briefing and drive towards Tarangire National Park.
After entering the park, begin your first game drive through a landscape characterized by giant baobab trees, open grasslands and seasonal wetlands.
Tarangire is particularly famous for its large elephant herds. During the game drive, look for elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, impalas and numerous bird species.
Your guide will also search for predators such as lions and, with luck, leopards.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic location inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. As the temperature begins to cool, wildlife often becomes more active.
In the late afternoon, leave Tarangire and continue to your accommodation for dinner and relaxation.
Overnight: Suricata boma lodge
Meals: Lunch & Dinner
Day 2: Tarangire → Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart for the legendary Serengeti National Park.
Travel through the beautiful landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before entering Serengeti.
As you approach the park, the scenery transforms into vast open plains. Begin an en-route game drive, keeping your eyes open for wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, gazelles, elephants and predators.
Serengeti is particularly famous for its large lion populations, while leopards and cheetahs may also be encountered.
Your guide will select the best route according to wildlife movements and the season.
Enjoy a picnic lunch during the journey before continuing your game drive towards your accommodation.
Arrive at your lodge or tented camp in the evening, enjoy dinner and relax beneath the African sky.
Overnight: Mid-range lodge/tented camp – Serengeti
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Day 3: Full-Day Serengeti National Park
Today is dedicated to a full-day Serengeti wildlife experience.
Wake early and head out with your private guide. The cooler morning hours provide excellent opportunities for spotting predators and observing wildlife activity.
Explore different areas of Serengeti in search of the Big Five. Lions are frequently encountered, while elephants and buffalo may be seen in open areas and around water sources.
Leopards are more elusive and may be found resting in trees or hidden in rocky areas. Your guide will carefully search likely habitats.
Continue looking for cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and many other species.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your afternoon game drive.
As the sun begins to set, return to your accommodation for dinner.
